3. Why We Collect This Information (Legal Basis)
We collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To deliver the Services you purchase — including scheduling sessions, granting access to the Discord community, and providing educational content (legal basis under GDPR: performance of a contract)
- To process payments — via Stripe (legal basis: performance of a contract, legal obligation)

4. Marketing Emails & Mailchimp
If you subscribe to our mailing list, we use Mailchimp (operated by Intuit Inc., based in the United States) to manage subscriptions and send emails. Your name, email address, subscription preferences, and engagement data (opens, clicks) are stored on Mailchimp’s servers in the United States.
By subscribing, you consent to this transfer. Mailchimp uses Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and equivalent safeguards under UK GDPR for international transfers. Mailchimp’s privacy practices are described at intuit.com/privacy.
In line with the Australian Spam Act 2003, every marketing email we send includes a clear unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and we will action your request promptly.
5. Payments & Stripe
All payments are processed by Stripe Inc. (a Delaware corporation, with Irish and Australian subsidiaries). We do not see, receive, or store your full card number or CVV.
Stripe collects and processes the information you enter at checkout (name, email, billing address, card details) according to its own privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and uses industry-standard encryption.
We retain limited transaction records (purchase date, amount, last four digits of card, billing email) for accounting, tax, and chargeback-defence purposes, as required by Australian law.
6. Discord Community
The P1 Trading community is hosted on Discord (operated by Discord Inc., based in the United States). When you join the community, your interactions, messages, username, and profile picture are processed and stored by Discord on its US-based servers.
Your use of Discord is subject to Discord’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy: discord.com/privacy. P1 Trading is not responsible for Discord’s data-handling practices.
Within our Discord server, we (as server administrators) can see your username, messages posted in the server, and your activity within the server. We do not have access to your private messages with other users, your password, or any Discord activity outside our server.
7. Analytics & Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Ltd) to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information including your IP address (anonymised where supported), pages visited, time on site, device type, and referral source.
This information is aggregated and used to improve the website’s performance and content. Google may process this data in the United States and other countries, under Standard Contractual Clauses for international data transfers.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the official browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
